Forum on Energy &
Digital Transformation

Energy and technology are vital for economic development and social welfare. Today, there is a revolution in the energy sector worldwide, which is accompanied by an increasingly rapid digital transformation. These changes could, on the one hand, serve to efficiently solve some current problems in the sector and, on the other hand, significantly disrup the current business models. Keeping informed about these developments is of upmost importance to managers and decison-makers.

The ENERGY AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION FORUM is a new annual event that will serve to explore the impact of economic and technological changes in the energy sector.

TDE

Professional Viewpoint

The ENERGY and DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION FORUM 2018 is aimed at professionals and executives of private companies and government institutions, who are the main decision makers in the energy and related sectors. On the other hand, the organizing team is a group of professionals with extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of energy and technology, with prominent careers locally and internationally, in the public and private sectors. A Forum made by professionals for professionals.

Modern Program

Our approach differs substantially from the traditional mettings and conferences on different topics that are repeated annually in an almost identical manner, without any innovation in its program, its key speakers or its format. The organizing team lives the day to day sectoral problems and works on their solutions. The members of the organizing team recognize which are the relevant current issues and know professionals worldwide whose knowledge and experience could have great value as speakers in a meeting like the ENERGY and DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION FORUM.

Excelent Support

To organize a premium event you need excellent support. We will use the best professionals for the preparation and management of all our digital and social platforms, including the recordings and the video streaming of all our sessions. The venue of the event will have all the facilities and amenities for attendees to feel comfortable and enjoy the presentations and discussion panels. The press will have the opportunity to interview the speakers, panelists and assistants.

Topics

The first Forum on Energy & Digital Transformation 2018 will focus on two topics of great importance for the future of the economy in general and its impact on energy transformation, which are ongoing mainly in developed countries, with important implications at regional and local levels. We refer to the Digital Transformation that is leading to a third (and fourth) industrial revolution and to a society of shared economy and Zero Marginal Cost. This technological and industrial revolution has its correlate in the electrical industry and businesses, which must face: new energy sources of intermittent renewable generation, of concentrated and distributed nature; respond to an active demand (the "Prosumers"); and advances in control and automation (Smart Grids and the Internet of Things).
